Red lantern in Chinatown

Today is "Theme Day" again, the topic is "Red". Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

Where else than in Chinatown would I find a motive to represent the topic. Red has a lot of meanings in Chinese Traditions, among them happiness, fortune and honor.

  2. Pretty designs on both types of lanterns! That's a very colorful building too. :)

I wonder how similar or how different Chinatowns are all over the world. It would be interesting to compare.

  3. Chinatown is such a great place, there's a cool reflexology place I to when I'm in town, they give great foot massages. www.trilingualdiva.blogspot.com

  4. Hi Ursel. Another reminiscent picture for me.
My wife thinks that the architecture I referred to in the previous comment is near a park that had a Japenese tea room located inside it.
