San Francisco Recreation & Parks teamed up with AMERICA SCORES, and TeacherBus and put a giant screen in front of the Civic Center Plaza! The game was about to begin a couple of minutes when I took the picture.
Now the World Cup 2010 is over and Spain won the cup!

Lovely! What a wonderful time we have all had this World Cup. I am sorry that it is all over. Cape Town is still glowing. (Although I was rooting for the Netherlands - I thought the Spanish were a bit like kamakasi pilots - but I suppose the best team won in the end.)

back in 1977, I left my heart in San Francisco. This is such a beautiful city. I have lots of fond memories.
